    Animal Classification in 3rd Grade

Third grade has wrapped up our second unit of CKLA. This was our first informational unit all about how zoologist study and classify animals. Students researched an animal of their choice, wrote an informational paragraph that was later turned into a mini zoo exhibit for their lockers, and finally, they got to create a clay model of their animal. Classrooms also sorted animals by their characteristics and classification and completed other animal themed activities!

    What a fun unit!
